Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox studied flute, piano and harpsichord in the Royal Academy of Music London for three years throughout the 70s. Lennox was paid a salary and part-time work to help supplement her income. Lennox did not feel satisfied with the level of her abilities compared to others at Royal Academy and began looking at other options. Lennox played the flute in the 1976 group called Dragons Playground. The group didn't make it to the talent competition New Faces on I.T.V. She was The singer for The Tourists from 1977 until 1980. She met Dave Stewart, with whom she would form the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox started working on her first solo album Diva, which was released by 1992. It was a huge success both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs Six solo album that was released in October 2014 was Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. The C.D. comprises Lennox's favourite blues, jazz, and soul songs of her youth. Lepidoptera was recorded by Lennox on May 19, 2019. The collection consisting of four tracks improvised. The E.P. This album is a companion piece to her Now I let the door open... artwork which was on display at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. The album is her first self-released album.
